PHILOSOPHY

PHILOSOPHY

OUR CORE VALUES

PASSION

You have to have a purpose—a productive purpose!

IMPROVEMENT

Use your ambition and creativity to improve. Reason, purpose and your self-esteem will grow.

INDIVIDUALISM

Man —every man— is regarded as an independent, sovereign entity who possesses a right to his own life, a right as a rational being.

QUALITY

Exercise quality over quantity. Our goal is to deliver high quality service!

OBJECTIVITY

“My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute.” — Ayn Rand

Individual

The mind is an attribute of the individual. There is no such thing as a collective brain. There is no such thing as a collective thought. An agreement reached by a group of men is only a compromise or an average drawn upon many individual thoughts. It is a secondary consequence. The primary act—the process of reason—must be performed by each man alone. We can divide a meal among many men. We cannot digest it in a collective stomach. No man can use his lungs to breathe for another man. No man can use his brain to think for another. All the functions of body and spirit are private. They cannot be shared or transferred.

Passion

In order to be in control of your life, you have to have a purpose—a productive purpose. A central purpose serves to integrate all the other concerns of a man’s life. It establishes the hierarchy, the relative importance, of his values, it saves him from pointless inner conflicts, it permits him to enjoy life on a wide scale and to carry that enjoyment into any area open to his mind; whereas a man without a purpose is lost in chaos. He does not know what his values are. He does not know how to judge. He cannot tell what is or is not important to him, and, therefore, he drifts helplessly at the mercy of any chance stimulus or any whim of the moment. He can enjoy nothing. He spends his life searching for some value which he will never find.

Quality

The standard of something as measured against other things of a similar kind; the degree of excellence of something, a distinctive.

Improving

Giving moral or intellectual benefit.

Objectivism

“My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute.” Objectivism is the philosophy of rational individualism founded by  –  Ayn Rand (1905-1982).
